Hugh Gaffney and Simon Lopez Reyes are Con Artists, Liars and thieves
Imagine, your parents worked their whole life and were living their dream, then someone came and bullied there way in and stole their life savings.
How would you feel?
How would your parents feel?
Our dreams and life savings were stolen by Hugh Gaffney and Simon Lopez Reyes of the Twisted Rose. They hired 4 Bullies to remove me from the Twisted Rose on December 29th 2009.
Hugh is a con artist, liar and thief. Smooth talking, very likable and very believable but a Thief and Liar.
As many of you know, 10 months prior, Hugh and Simon were out of money, owed the wrong person money and were days away from having their bones broken.
We "THOUGHT" that by having a Legal Agreement and the Lease in our name we were protected. WRONG!
On December 29th that was a turning point in our lives when the 4 THUGS, came and removed me and their Lawyer,
Lic. Pedro Parada Gutiérrez (pparada6@hotmail.com) waved a PHONY Legal document saying I had to leave.
One of the toughest things was one of those thugs was a Canadian, from Alberta, named Todd Dalke, c.befus@shaw.ca and or todd@pvgweb.com
Their Lawyer knew that the timing was perfect as it was the holidays and the courts were closed for another week to ten days and once I was removed it was up to me to prove I was the legal operator of the Twisted Rose.
Once outside, I called our lawyer to rectify the situation. Knowing the lease was in my name and we had a legally written document, this would be sorted out really fast.
Once our lawyer showed up, the police were waiting, so we told the police about our legal paperwork and called the landlord down.
The landlord claimed he didn't receive a copy of the lease and was only honoring the previous lease of Hugh and Simon. Even though less than 30 days earlier the landlord and our lawyer added an amendment to the lease, he claimed he didn't have a copy.
So essentially, after spending over $120,000 dollars on the Twisted Rose, Hugh and Simon felt that they Would Not Honor the agreement they had with us and nor the current situation they put themselves in and resorted to physically removing me and changed the locks.
Lynn has tried on about 10 occasions to contact Hugh, via email and telephone and as of today, no reply has come. No arrangement to pay back our money, nothing.
They are happily going on with their lives, profiting and living off our money, while they have destroyed our life, forcing us to start over.
How could someone do this and smile? Unless they have no Conscience!
How this has affected Dale and Lynn?
Our dream and money was Stolen.
Our daughter had to leave her school and friends in mid year and couldn't understand why we had to leave, as this was our dream.
We realized we could spend more money bribing officials and even resorting to lying and paying witnesses to back up any lies contrived but we also knew what Hugh and Simon could lie and buy witnesses as well. We tried going the legal route but it was costing more and more with no definite conclusion in the horizon. This has escalate from the previous issue at the beginning of December and we feared it could only escalate to a higher more violent level.
Lynn now feared for her safety, our daughter's safety and my safety and we had to move.
Bucerias was our dream, now our dream was stolen as was over $120,000 by Hugh and Simon.
Even if Hugh and Simon feel we were hard to work with or WHATEVER Excuse they come up with, it was them who put themselves into this situation and it was them who wanted this arrangement. There's no EXCUSE to Steal from those who Helped.
I can accept a business venture that fails BUT I cannot accept someone stealing this business venture. That's not a failed investment, it's THEFT, Plain and Simple!
Over the past three months, both of us have gone into a deep depression, can't work and have been forced to take prescribed drugs to help deal with this.
The purpose of this is to only expose Hugh and Simon as the crooks and thieves they are but to also let people know that in Mexico, a crime is when you have 2 or 3 witness to collaborate a story and that everyone is willing to take a bribe from the prosecutor to the police.
Do not think for a minute that a legal document will protect you!
